As part of our commitment to providing students with forward-thinking and globally relevant education, Villa College was honoured to host an insightful online session on Sustainable Architecture. This event, a key instalment in our ongoing Design Insight Series, brought our Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design students into a virtual classroom with the distinguished Dr. Ambuj Kumar, a leading voice in environmentally conscious design. The session provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with cutting-edge concepts that are shaping the future of their industry.
Dr. Ambuj Kumar brought a wealth of multidisciplinary expertise to the discussion. His distinguished career encompasses several critical fields, including roles as an architect, urban planner, ecologist, and environmentalist. Currently serving as a Professor at Adama Science and Technology University in Ethiopia, Dr. Kumar is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is widely respected for his innovative approach to design that prioritizes ecological harmony. His extensive experience provided our students with a rich and authoritative perspective on the principles and practices of sustainable architecture.
